Tamara Speed3 May 2024I’ve always loved mum’s engagement ring and before she died she gifted it to me. I never thought I’d be able to wear it given the arthritis in my fingers. I took it to Metal Urges and am so appreciative of their amazing work, adding a clasp which enables me to wear mum’s ring. It was given a good clean, claws tightened and they even replaced a lost diamond. The service by all staff was exceptional, I couldn’t recommend Metal Urges more highly.

She showed me the options in line with the stone size and recommended proportions and away we went. It couldn't have been a more pleasurable experience. There was even the option to apply for the Tasmanian Art Loan Scheme to pay for the cost of having this, which was also a very easy process also. I couldn't be happier with the results of our family heirloom being restored for modern wear for many generations to come, thanks to the Metal Urges jewellers and staff- Highly recommend!
Tina Glanville29 April 2024I can’t express in a short review how much Chris’ care and compassion meant to me when he created gorgeous pendants for my daughters containing their father’s ashes and photos and engraved with different symbols. He listened and created jewellery which exceeded our expectations all whilst ensuring my husbands ashes were treated with the upmost respect. He made another beautiful pendant for my granddaughter with photos of her two poppy’s which was also engraved. Not only is the jewellery created by Chris and his team gorgeous and incredible quality but the service is beyond compare, particularly during such a devastating time in our lives. The repair work to both of my rings is seamless - you'd never know they were repaired. I can't recommend Metal Urges highly enough.

I had my opal ring resized in Feb and have been wearing it regularly since (now April). The work that Metal Urges has done is invisible, the recommended size: just right. Their service from walking in the door to the follow-up email, as usual, was fantastic. I have no qualms leaving my jewellery in their care.
