Capturing a client’s passions, tastes and connection within a custom or cut-to-order piece of jewellery is an honour and responsibility we take very seriously at Metal Urges. We offer clients the option to change, alter, build onto an existing piece or create something entirely new.
We’ve worked with clients of all descriptions to bring their unique vision to life, from necklaces to bracelets, engagement rings to anniversary gifts or significant birthdays our intimate and personalised service is available virtually or in person at our dedicated Hobart studio and workshop.
The process
The Metal Urges cut-to-order process starts with a design consultation with founder and head jeweller Chris Hood, where we lay the groundwork to understand what you’re looking for in a personalised piece of jewellery.
This first stage involves looking at stones and styles, metals, budgets and timeframes and comes at no cost. Many clients may not always have some or any of these elements clearly defined, but our expert advice and experience can guide you through the experience to arrive at something that’s meaningful and precious to you.
